RECYCLING
OF GOLD, GLASS AND RUBBER
October 1 – November 6, 2005
The
artistic glassmaker Bettina Schori, the textile artist Anne Louise Bang,
goldsmith Lisbeth Nordskov, and pictorial artist Lone Villaume are
exhibiting art and art wares made of recyclable materials.
The idea to the exhibition
“Recycling of gold, glass, and rubber” emerged from the wish to focus
on art, which had a built-in message about environmental awareness.
Common
to us is the fact that we all use recyclable materials in a big part of
our work. We all share an opinion about the consumption of resources,
and we are all fascinated by the potentiality of materials that other
people have discarded. We work with art, in which we use humour,
surprise, and aesthetics, mixed with the idea of recycling.
