THE RESERVATION CHRISTIANIA
The
Exhibition explores the part of Copenhagen called the
Freetown Christiania. Christiania covers an area of more
than 85 acres and houses almost one thousand inhabitants.
Every year more than a million people visit the Freetown.
Among the local users are many social security recipients,
pensioners, immigrants and clients from social institutions.
Street people and vagabonds find a sanctuary here.
The Freetown stands before a crossroad and possibly thorough
changes. The exhibition focuses on the diversity of the
inhabitants and the visual and distinctive traces of them.
