Jeffrey Lloyd-Roberts was born in Wales and studied at the Royal Northern College of Music with Barbara Robotham. While studying he received awards from the Wolfson Foundation, the Countess of Munster Musical Trust and the Peter Moores Foundation. Jeffrey Lloyd-Roberts was soon in demand on both the operatic stage and the concert platform. Jeffrey Lloyd-Roberts' repertoire covers many oratorios and songs with orchestra ranging from the Bach Passions through Mozart and Verdi's Requiems to Mahler's Eighth Symphony and Berlioz' l'Enfance du Christ and Le Grande Messe des Morts as well as the leading part in major operas.
Jørgen Bjørslev studied with Lars Trier and Per-Olof Johnson at the Academy of Music in Esbjerg and the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen. Debut from the soloist class 1982. He has distinguished himself in competitions in Granada and Paris. Recordings include 3 solo records. Jørgen Bjørslev has made numerous concerts in Denmark and abroad and has also performed in radio and TV. Teacher at the Western Jutland Academy of Music in Esbjerg. He gives master classes and international courses. Leader of the Sønderho Guitar Festival, which he founded in 1996. Also appearing as jazz and blues musician.

Jeffrey Lloyd-Roberts and Jørgen Bjørslev give a recital in the Library Hall, Round Tower (Rundetaarn) on Friday - 13th July 2001 - at 8.30 p.m.
