The comet of 1577
From the comet of 1577, Tycho learned that comets are above the atmosphere. Seen above is a page from his notebook. The comet is placed near the orbit of the planet Venus.
The inner solar system is in accordance with his own system, with the Earth in the center and the Sun moving
around, all the other planets are moving around the Sun. He could not accept the Copernican system because he could not measure the parallax of the stars.
He also observed that the tail of the comet pointed away from the Sun.
