Astro Bar in August – Stargazing and music in The Round Tower

Explore the art exhibition and enjoy a 360-degree sunset over Copenhagen with drinks and music, as the Round Tower stays open late and transforms its rooftop into a cozy Thursday bar.

Take a leisurely walk up the Spiral Ramp hand in hand with your sweetheart or best friend, make a stop halfway in the Library Hall to explore the current special exhibition, and finish your visit on top of the Round Tower with drinks, music, and a summer sunset.

On August 21st, the tower will stay open late in both the exhibition hall and on the rooftop, as we swap souvenirs and ice cream in the rooftop kiosk for beers and cocktails and invite you to Astro bar – the city’s most scenic bar with an unbeatable view.

This means that with a single ticket, you can explore the exhibition in the Library Hall, get help from astronomers to look through the telescope in the Observatory, and enjoy the last rays of sunshine setting over the city from the viewing platform on top.

Please note: Tickets are sold in advance due to limited space, but it is also possible to buy a ticket at the door if capacity allows.

If the weather doesn’t allow for an open-air event, we’ll move the festivities inside the Round Tower.
