Guided Tours for Groups

The whole world passes through the Round Tower. A guided tour adds an extra layer to your visit as the stories of the tower are brought to life.

In 2026, the Round Tower launches a new guided tour programme for private groups and educational institutions. 

Group Tour: Around Rundetaarn
Was the National Museum of Denmark born in the Round Tower? What does the golden rebus on the façade mean? And did King Christian IV ever actually visit the tower and Observatory he built? Get a thorough and engaging introduction to the history of the tower, including fun, quirky and surprising stories that even regular visitors may not have heard before.

Prices and Practical Information

Educational institutions:
Primary and lower secondary schools: 875 DKK for a class of students and teachers.
Upper secondary schools and higher education institutions: 1.600 DKK for a class of students and teachers.

Private groups:
1.600 DKK for a group of 20 people
+ 80 DKK extra per additional person (a max of 30 people total)

Booking

The office handles booking, payment, and invoicing.
Bookings must be made no later than 14 days in advance and are only final once confirmation has been received by email. You may cancel your booking free of charge up to 8 days before the guided tour. Cancellations made later than this will be charged the full price.
