The whole world is passing through the Round Tower. A guided tour offers an extra dimension to a visit by telling the stories of the tower and the people who have come here since 1642.
The Round Tower offers guided tours all year round both during and outside opening hours. Guided tours are also available in English.

A guided tour in the Round Tower usually starts at the foot of the tower and ends in the Observatory on the top. The subject matter can be adjusted according with particular wishes or topics of interest.
A standard guided tour will have a focus on the history of the building and how it relates to the general history of Copenhagen with an opportunity to visit a few places that are normally inaccessible to the general public. Other common subjects of interest could be science, instrument or astronomy history. Upon booking a tour, please consider if you have any topics of interest and what level of difficulty is relevant.
The duration of a guided tour is usually between one and one and a half hours depending the size of the group and the general traffic in the tower. It can also be adjusted in accordance with your specific schedule.
As far as the weather and the time of day allows it, guided tours can finish by looking trough the old telescope in the Observatory.
